Fresh Tools of the Week [31st May – 6th June]

So, the new month has begun and the first of this month has almost ended. As scheduled, we are here with the list of best tools, apps and websites for designers and developers that have been rolled out in the week gone by.

Every week, we keep a track of tools that are useful for our designer and developer friends and prepare the list of same to present before you all so that if the need arises you are able to make use of these.

Fresh Tools for Designers and Developers

1. Remodal

Remodal is a flat, responsive, lightweight, easily customizable modal window plugin that comes with declarative state notation and hash tracking for users to enjoy the ease.


2. Bootstrap Live Customizer

Bootstrap Live Customizer is similar to Bootstrap’s customizer with the only difference that the results of the edits are visible live on the page. The tool helps in generating the customized bootstrap.css file and variables.less file that can be used to compile Bootstrap’s style sheets manually.


3. IxD Checklist 

This is a handy tool that lets you evaluate your work. Its a checklist to make sure that your interaction designs are working as they should.


4. ViewDNS

This is a collection of useful online tools for your computer where you can easily view DNS settings and DNS changes. Besides you get various tools handily available for free.


5. Nasty Icons

Nasty Icons is an online tool that lets users make optimum use of various type of icons and apply them in logo, social network photo, 404 HTML page or whatever. Also, when you scroll down, you will find that the website has around 210  free minimal vector icons which you can use for miscellaneous projects. 


6. Visme

Visme is a place where you can visualize your ideas. Users can easily create interactive presentations, infographics and other engaging content at Visme. From here you can pick images from Flikr, fonts, various vector assets to use in your projects for free.


7. Bootflat

Bootflat is an open source flat UI kit based on Bootstrap 3.1.1 framework. The tool uses HTML5 and CSS3 to provide faster, easier and less repetitive way for web developers and designers for creating elegant web apps.
